My tumblr

Hello sunshines,
this is just a quick update post cause I haven't really done much recently. School started on the 10th and since it's my last year at school and I'm aiming to get a 18 ( out of 20) minimum  score for my graduation certificate I'm going to mostly study my ass off. So less updating on my blog. BUT I have a tumblr, so if you are interested you can follow me on there. I usually update it every day mostly things on anime, k-pop, fashion etc. I mentioned in my previous posts that I will try to upload more make up tutorials on my YouTube account, but for some reason I tried filming a few (of the same look) but it just looked horrible, so I will try again in hopes that it turns out good.  Anyway this is my tumblr account if you are interested straawcherry

Shingeki no Kyojin, Free! , Ao no Exorcist + K(project)

Hello marshmallows,
yes, 2 posts in a week! I didn't want to include these ones in the last list since these are still new and ongoing. I will be going into more detail on my opinion on these so they will be quite a few spoilers.

Free! Iwatonbi Swim Club.
This anime is over all Eye Candy. And big time as well. The story line is quite nice and simple. It's about a  group of boys that like to swim. When they were younger they all went to the same swimming club together, and one day one Rei (one of the guys) left to go to an Australian swim school as his dream was to go to the Olympics. The re-unite in Highschool when they find out that their old swim club is being torn down so they can collect their old trophy which they buried. There they meet Rei again. The plot in my opinion is very simple, it's about 4(now 5) guys that like to swim. The graphics are similar to Reborn! so the basic anime graphics. BIG thumbs up for the lovely eye candy ^^ 10/10

Shingeki no Kyojin
Oh My God! I am speechless on this anime. From the first episode I was addicted. I dare say that it might be up the on the list close to One Piece for me? I'm not quite sure yet since it is a new anime and usually once anime's come out there is a huge blow up about them. The plot is about a boy named Eren Jaeger and his adoptive sister Mikasa. They live in a period where titans live on earth and are the enemy of humanity. In order to survive the humans built walls to keep the titans out. After a century, one day the titans broke through the walls and ate thousands of people. Eren was present to his mother being eaten by a titan and swore that he would kill them all. I really like the story line and the over all idea of the anime. They said that they would only make 25 episodes and in my opinion that is only as far as they can go. Unlike other anime's such as One Piece or Fairy Tail where they can keep on adding to the plot this one pretty much ends once they defeat the titans. I think the only way they would be able to continue it, is if the humans started travelling to other parts of the world ( I believe that the anime takes part in the western part since Mikasa is said to be the only orient left) such as Asia, Africa etc etc. In those countries perhaps the titans have other weak spots. The graphics in this anime are the best I've ever seen so I give a BIG thumbs up to that. I highly recommend this anime. 10/10

Ao no Exorcist
This one is a slightly older anime being made in 2011, but who cares. I loved it. Just like SNK  from the first episode I loved it. I watched the whole series in 1 day(dunno why I'm so proud of it...) The story is about 2 twins who are brought up by an exorcist. The twins are the spawns of Satan and after 15 years the oldest twin's (Rin) powers awaken. Their human father is murdered in an attempt to save the oldest twin. After that Rin vowed to get revenge on his fathers death by killing Satan. The anime has only 1 season (25 episodes) but from what I read they are planing to make a new one. The manga is still ongoing for those who are interested. I really liked this series. Again, it has to do with supernatural powers and  what not so of course I liked it :) 9.5/10, the 0.5 is because I was disappointed when I found out that after episode 15, the anime episodes where fillers -_-'' , but still very enjoyable ^^

K (project)
Mind blown! This story was so intriguing. I can't explain it. Again, supernatural powers blah blah. In this earth there are 7 kings, blue, red, silver, gold etc etc. Each one of them has a special power. One day one of the comrade of the red king was murdered and the whole gang is set out to find the murderer and kill him. Their comrade's last moments were found on tape and the killer is shown. Shiro a normal high school student looks like the killer and is being pursued by many people. In the end is he really innocent...? Very enjoyable, has many unexpected surprises 9.8/10

That's all for this weeks. I'm planning on uploading a make-up tutorial soon so please watch it(please???:( ) Anyway that's all,
Amy xx^^

Anime Review

Hello marshmallows,
like I've mentioned before I don't only watch Asian Dramas, but I am a HUGE Otaku (otaku= Japanese for a very big anime fan). I've watched so many anime's that I can't really remember half of them! Ok, I lie. I remember all of them by heart :D Unlike Dramas, I like almost all genres of anime's, horror, adventure, romance, comedy, yaoi. You name it. These are the ones I have watched up until now. *side note* If I watch an anime I don't read the manga since I really hate knowing what is going to happen. I have read manga's that haven't been made into anime's (yet) though.

1) One Piece.
Enough said. One piece. I don't really think that there is a better anime than One Piece. I watched a few episodes as a child and started watching it 3 years ago when I found it again. I have to admit, the first 2 arcs are kind of slow, but after that it really picks up. There are 600+ episodes and it is ongoing. Best anime ever!! 16/10, I don't think it is allowed but since this is my blog it is :)

2) Fairy tail.
I really like fairy tail. I guess the reason as to why is because it is really similar to one piece. Hear me out. Hiro Mashima ( creator of Fairy Tail) said himself that he was really inspired by Odas work on One Piece and thus created Fairy Tail. A lot of the characters have similar relationships and in general their characters are alike. It stopped in March 2013 but it is said to start again. Nice if you like action and super power anime 9/10

3) Reborn!
Ahhhh, reborn! The first long anime I ever started watching. I was so upset when they stopped it on the 203rd episode. It's a brilliant anime. The story line is really good and interesting up to the point where I would just sit and watch it all day. My major complaint is probably some of the fight scenes in the anime. They took up a few too many episodes. But then again, it's an action anime so it kinda makes sense. I really like anime's that have to do with supernatural powers etc etc so of course I like it. They were meant to continue the anime after taking a short break, but that didn't happen and to my knowledge the manga also stopped now (not quite sure, I don't really read manga). Love it 9.5/10

4) Say I love you
Love, Love, LOVE!! Omfg!! Cutest anime ever!! The story line is very similar to the basic Asian drama plot. Popular guy, falls for a girl that hasn't got much, hurdles in the way blah blah blah, they end up together. But I don't know why I loved it so much. I have to admit, I did read the manga first and when I found out about the anime, I started watching it. The graphics are kind of close to My Neighbor Totoro, so I like it. It has kind of and old anime feel to it I guess? Nice romantic anime, 9.8/10

5) Death Note
:D *dies* (from)The.Best.Anime.Ever! Amazing, brilliant, ingenious! The plot is about a teenager named Light Yagami who meets a shinigami and steals his note book known as the death note. If you write someones name, time and way of death in it, it happens. He uses it for what he believes is for the good of man kind by killing off the evil villains. A detective named L(not infinite's Myungsoo :) tries to find out who keeps killing these people and suspects Light. The plot basically evolves around that. I disliked one thing about this anime though. * HUGE SPOILER* the episodes after L died became boring. 9/10

These are probably my favorite anime's of all time. I have more but these are the ones that I like most. I will post more anime's that I've watched :)

Asian dramas you need to watch now!! *Part 4*

Hello sunshines,
ok so it's like this, I will only be reviewing Monstar this week because of the following reasons : 1) Each episode goes for 1:20 minutes which is like watching two 45 minute episodes. 2) I spent my last 3 days in Cyprus out with my family so I didn't really have time to sit and watch dramas. So without further ado, Monstar!

Monstar
I looooved this drama 9.5/10. I'm not really fond of Musicals as in movies, but for some reason I really enjoy musical Asian dramas. I liked the fact that it DID build up the relationships between the characters and it explained a bit the reason why each one acted the way that they did. The plot takes place at a normal Korean High School where a Hallyu star starts going to school to improve his image. While there he meets different kids and they form a band to perform at a show in order to get themselves out of punishment (which was for something they didn't do). Each one of them has some sort of psychological injury and through music they all connect. As all Korean dramas, there is a love triangle which is turned into some weird 6 way shape. Interesting, me likey :D. The male actors where delicious(if you know what I mean ;) Kang Ha-Neul was in To The Beautiful You, I really liked his role in that drama and I think he is an amazing actor and I especially liked his role in Monstar. Highly recommended drama if you are into melodrama-comedy-musicals. Keep in mind that the episodes are really long.
I'll hopefully update more dramas next, but I'm not sure since I will be leaving Muscat and will be spending time with my dad.

Asian dramas you should watch now!! *Part 3* The Hanazakari No Kimitachi E series~

Hello sunshines,
I'm back with another Asian Drama series post. This one is going to be on the three versions on the drama adaptions of Hanazakari no kimitachi e also known as Hana Kimi.
Plot: The story line is about a girl that moves from the States to Japan in order to help a High Jump athlete return to the field. In order to do that though she disguises herself as a guy and enters an all boy academy. The following dramas have different adaptions to the anime/manga.

1) Hanazakari no kimitachi e (original)
This is probably my favorite adaption. I'm a fan of most of the actors that were used for the show so I guess that plays a big role for me.  I've watched this series twice and as I mentioned before I hate watching series again since I already know what happens, but I really like this one, so I watched it again. In this version of the drama, Osaka Gakuen is in it's prime and everything is good. I preferred the actors in this drama for some reason *cough Hiro Mizushima cough* as well as at first glance I thought I liked the original version but I'm not so sure anymore. Amazing drama 10/10 ^^

2) Hanazakari no kimitachi e 2011
This one I found ok... I'm not sure why though. The plot was very different to the original. Of course they kept the necessary parts (disguising as a boy, love triangle etc etc). They made the school run down, and that it was going to close in 3 months time. Also they kind of changed the chemistry between the characters compared to the original. I think that maybe the over-all reason why I didn't like it as much is because I kept comparing it to the original Hana Kimi. They obviously had to make drastic changes in order to not make it the same. But once I stopped comparing it to the original I really did enjoy it! I definitely liked the ending more. It seemed more dramatic and nice. So Hana Kimi 2, 9.5/10. Highly recommend it!

3) To the beautiful you
This is the Korean adaption to the Hana Kimi series. In all honesty, I think I enjoyed this the most. You would think after watching relatively the same story line twice you wouldn't want to see the third one. But I actually liked this one a lot. They incorporated parts from both of the Japanese versions and incorporated new things also. I was upset about a few things though... They left out Kayashima :(. He was probably my favorite character. Also they didn't really emphasize the other characters like they did in the other Hana Kimi's. They only really emphasized on Jae Hee(Ashiya), Eun Gyeol(Nakatsu) and Tae Joon (Sano). The reason why I didn't like it is because it didn't really create a bond between JaeHee and the other characters so I felt that the goodbye was lacking compare to the other Hana Kimis. So I was pretty bummed out about that. The re-uniting in the end reminded me of Hana Kimi Remake. Over all really nice drama 9/10.

This is a basic problem I have with most Asian dramas or in general movies and series. Why doesn't the girl end up liking the other guy?! I mean, come on! The other guy almost always seem to go to the end of the world for her, but nooo!! She always falls for the guy that she initially liked. That doesn't always happen. In fact the other guy always seems to be the one that is there when there are problems and in real life you usually end up liking the person you know will be there for you. Not the one that makes you feel like crap when you try to help them. The only dramas I think I didn't really see the whole likes the other guy in the end was Dream High (was I the only one? :/ )and of course reply 1997. You thought you knew but then they completely mind fucked you. It was a nice twist. It's kind of annoying when from the start you know who is going to end up with. Ughhhh!! Another thing, why does it seem like Korean Dramas have very bad kissers? I mean seriously?! It looks emotionless, and I'm not being funny but if you're kissing someone that you like you at least try to kiss them with tongue. I don't necessarily want to see them trying to choke each other with their tongues but a bit of a emotional passionate kiss won't kill anyone! Double Ughhhh!

Anyway, that's all for this weeks post, I'll try and do another post next week, but I will be flying out to Muskat on Sunday so I will be busy for the next few days so not sure if I will have time

Asian dramas you should watch now!! *Part 2*

Hello sunshines,
for this weeks ''Korean dramas you should watch now!! *echo*'' I will be reviewing the dramas ''Flower Boy Next Door'', ''Flower Boy Ramyun Shop'' and . It seems as though my choice of dramas this week fell into the category of flowers. Ohh well... :)

1) Flower Boy Next Door
I enjoyed this series quite a bit. The story lines was really nice (as well as Yoon Shi-Yoon :D ). However I did find that it dragged on a bit for the last 5-6 episodes. Roughly the same thing was happening so I got a bit bored of it but, I am happy that I did finish it cause now that I think about it, it was a really good series. When watching a series or movie I pay more attention to the ending rather than the whole plot. And the ending was incredible. The story is about a modern day Rapunzel that locks herself in her room due to a childhood trauma she doesn't want to see the world. But suddenly a guy walks into her life and she starts seeing the world and goes out. The actress for the role is Park Shin-Hye. Even though I was disappointed with the character in ''You're beautiful'', I liked this one. It's probably the fact that you understand why her personality is like that rather than just the whole cute-tsy innocent act of Go Mi Nam in You're Beautiful. None the less, I really liked this drama so I give it a 4.5/5. The 0.5 is because I found that the scenario was dragging at a point. Over all, great drama and I highly recommend it.

2) Flower Boy Ramyun Shop
<3<3. That is pretty much all I have to say. I'm pretty sure this is the first drama where the woman isn't a complete an utter incompetent person. I knew from the first episode that I would love this show. And the ending was brilliant. The story is about a woman in her mid-20's, she is studying to become a teacher and starts liking this guy who she thinks is 30 years old but turns out to be 19. When she realizes that he is her student from Korea's biggest firms she doesn't know what to do. Like almost all Korean Dramas there is a love triangle in this one as well. I like how they used songs from different dramas also such as secret garden.  Very good drama, extremely funny 5/5.

This week I'm only reviewing 2 series. I watched Hanazakiri no kimitachi e again, but I decided to do a comparison to the 3 different versions of it, I will probably blog about them next week. Until then,
Amyxx^^

Korean dramas you should watch now!! *Part 1*

Hello sunshine's,
How are you all doing?  Now apart from being really into the whole Japanese/ Korean fashion scene, I also love their music, anime's(manga's) and Korean/Japanese dramas. For today I'll be sticking to Korean Dramas you have to watch now!!
I'm not really into the whole ''historical drama craze'' that has been happening recently. I'm more fond of comedies and maybe horror dramas. I joke, I hate horror movies, I can never sleep after. I know what you're all thinking ''wuss'' but don't judge me! They are made to scare the living Jesus out of you!! Continuing... the dramas that I chose are my taste, just keep in mind that not everyone will like them, so keep and open mind.Oh, and these aren't in order of my favorite.

1) Reply 1997
This drama is probably one of my favorites of all time! I started watching it a while back but only got up till episode 5 and stopped cause I was busy with school. Now that I have nothing to do I started watching it again and stayed up till 4:30 in the morning to finish off the episodes.(I have no life.) The plot and story line is very different compare to most Asian dramas where straight away you know who is going to end up with who. Up until the last episode you have no idea who Shi Won is going to end up with. Through out the whole time you keep realizing new things that just blow your mind. I don't want to explain too much so I'll just go over the plot briefly. The story takes place in 2012 where the group of now adults are meeting up and 2 of them announce their engagement. Then they all start to remember their childhood (around 18 years old) that takes place in 1997. Awesome series. Very addictive 5/5.

2)Shut Up!Flower Boy Band
I will start off by saying that if Eye Candy was a real group I would be a huge fan! I loved this series to bits. I couldn't stop watching it! I don't really think there was something that I didn't like. But if I had to say something it would be that they would not say what they were doing in order to help the people around them that they cared about. I get that, I would probably do the same for a friend, but it annoyed me that the things that they hid from each other were so important.  But, I will forgive them since it did give the plot more meaning. The story has to do with a group of Teen-age boys in a band. They change schools because their one is closing down. The leader of the group falls for this girl from their new school but has trouble with the schools band Strawberry Field. He then goes out at night to meet with one of the guys and ends up being beaten up. As his friends find him he tries to cross the street to meet them and gets hit by a bus and dies. His friends then have a goal to become famous and share his music with the world. I won't say anything else so that you can have a bit of action ;) Absolutely fantastic drama 5/5!

3)You're Beautiful
I really liked this drama. It was funny,sad,musical-y(is that even a word?) basically everything I love put together. I really enjoyed watching it and finished it off in 2 days. I didn't like one thing though. I think it must be a general rule for Korean Dramas for all females to give off the weak damsel in distress but it really pisses me off! I found that the character of Go Mi Nyu/Mi Nam to be extremely weak. I guess they were going for the completely pure aspect of the character since she was meant to be a nun, but still. At times when she was getting yelled at for something that wasn't her fault, or something she did without realizing it she would simply say ''I'm sorry''. What the fuck?! When someone blames me for something that I'm not at fault I go Miss Prosecutor on their ass, but noooo! She just stood there and took it! I could probably write a whole article on why the character of the lead female role pissed me off, but moving on. Again, I will briefly explain the plot. Go Mi Nyu is the twin sister on Go Mi Nam a guy who wants to become a member of the group A.N.Jell. Her brother has to leave for the states for surgery and she transforms into a guy in order for him to become a member of the group until he returns. The story goes around how she manages to avoid being found out, but does she succeed? Very nice drama, I would give 5/5 ,the female character annoys me so much that I would give 4/5, but I give the point back because the ending was amazing, so 5/5 ^^

Part 2 will be out next week ^^
This was a brief blog about the dramas I've been watching. Maybe I should make this a regular thing on my blog? When I'm done with the dramas I will probably start writing about animes, maybe... Let me know if you want me to review a drama that you enjoyed watching. Until next time,
Amyxx^^

Dariya Palty Beauty Mauve Review~

Hello marshmallows,
the other day I dyed my hair with dariya palty beauty mauve. So unlike the other times when I dye my hair, I finally filmed myself! In the video I might look a bit weird but please don't judge me! It's my first video so I was a bit camera shy *blushes*. So without further ado, the video.

I congratulate you if you watched until the end :D

Now for the judging!

Color: 5/5. I really like the color. My hair was bleached blonde so it came out more purple than it said on the package, which is fine with me.
PAIN LEVEL!: 4.5/5. To explain. Most Japanese dyes contain bleach(or whatever the thing that bleach contains that burns your scalp like a moth-) so it does burn or hurt a bit. But not as bad as regular bleach.
Damage: 5/5, my hair feels pretty soft after dying it, as I usually say when I dye my hair with palty hair dyes. No complaints as of yet
Product Content: 3/5. This is my biggest problem with the palty hair dyes. Whenever I use the dyes I always find that it doesn't cover my whole head. When my hair use to be longer and was layered for some reason I had dye left over*ponders*. But since I cut it short it doesn't. Maybe my hair got thicker? Dunno... So I have to purchase another bottle to re-do my whole head, if I don't decide to change the color(again)

This is my biggest problem though with beauty mauve. I've been searching for it for the past 2 maybe 3 years and this is the first time I have found it. And already it is out of stock! Here is the link for the store where I purchase all of my dyes in case you are interested:(Terryyuen72 store Ebay)

Here's a before and after picture:

*I had no idea how to pose....*

That's all I have for now, I will try and update as soon as possible.
P.s. On the 5th of August I will be going to Oman to visit my dad and then to Dubai for a few days, I might do a Haul of things I buy, if you guys want? Let me know ^^

How to make your circle lenses look different??

Hello everyone,
Sorry for the lack of update, as per usual I've been busy^^'' and apart from that, I haven't really had anything  to blog about. But, while I was getting ready yesterday I accidentally put my lenses on the other way around. And you know what? They looked so nice. Usually when you buy colored circle lens, the black ring around it might be too dark and the color won't show too well, especially if your eye color is really dark. But this way, the color shows up surprisingly really well.

*Left side other way round* *Right side, right way round*

As you can see from the above pictures, the color seems a lot more vibrant, and it still enlarges your eyes.
Sorry for this post being really short. I promise I will update as soon as I have some things to share,
Amyxx

Yellow and Green summer Gyaru look~

Hey gals,
today I'm going to show you a cute and easy make-up look perfect for summer. I tried doing a video on this and for some reason it sticks(-_-'') so I just took pictures on how to do it. I hope it is clear enough, if not let me know and I will try filming/ redoing it again ^^

1) Have your lenses on, and apply BB/CC cream foundation or concealer, whatever you wish ^^
2) Apply a beige shimmering eye shadow  to the whole of your lid:

3) Apply a copper color to your crease and blend it out. This will make your eyes look as if they have more depth.
4) Now line your eyes with a green eye shadow and wing it out.
5) With a yellow color line the outer part of your lower lash line
6) Add a shimmering white eye shadow to the inner corners of your eyes to make them look bigger and brighter.
7) Lastly line your eyes with liquid liner. Make sure that the line is very thin so that the green will still show. Put on mascara(optional) and False eye lashes. If your bottom lashes are very thin you can add some mascara and some short lower lashes. Make sure that the lower lashes aren't too dramatic.

8) Put on some light pink blush and a light pink lipstick and you're done ^^

You can experiment this look with different colors like aqua and orange, or any other color you like. It's a very nice colorful look for summer. I'll try and maybe do a few more make-up-picture-how-to's soon ^^

iFairy Moe Moe Circle Lens Review~

Hello gals,
this post is on the iFairy Moe Moe circle lens in Gray. I'm going to start off by saying that I absolutely love these!!
Yeah....Sorry if I scared you*scratches head*
So this is what they look like in all natural lighting. As you can see they look slightly more hazel on my eyes rather than gray. I personally love these lenses with more of a darker look, I think they look amazing!^^
 More on the lenses:

Base Curve:
8.6

Diameter:
16.0mm

Life Span:
1 year.
Water Content:
38%
Needless to say that I LOVE these lenses!! I don't really fit into a specific gyaru category, I dress to how I feel that day, sometimes Hime inspired and others rock inspired. I love these lenses when I do my rock look cause I think that they look so sexy for some reason ^^ . They are super comfy to wear and they enlarge your eyes quite a bit. They were cheap also, I think I got them for around 20$ from Speciallens.
That's all I have to say about these lenses^^

Gyaru VS Ulzzang!

Hello gals,
today's blog will be a showdown between Gyaru and Ulzzang. I'm going to state the differences between Gyaru and Ulzzang.
First off, Gyaru. I've talked about 4 times on my blog ( I've even got a post on the types of gyaru!!),but for the sake of this blog I will state everything again. The basics to any gyaru is:
~False Eye Lashes
~Circle Lens
~Heavy Make-Up (eye shadow,blush,bronzer, mascara etc)
~High end fashion
~Accessories
~Well styled hair
~Dyed hair

There are more things for gyaru, but it depends on the style of gyaru that you are. These and common for all gyaru styles.

Now for Ulzzang. Ulzzang is the basic Korean looks. It literally translates to ''best faced''. Here is how they do their make-up
-Circle lens
-BB/CC cream
-Eyeliner
-maybe eye shadow and false lashes

Now for the showdown! Both styles are very nice. Gyaru focuses more on being the center of  attention I mean how can you not stare at a girl with eyes that look like a freakin' anime or how perfectly put together she is? Ulzzang on the other hand, I guess it uses make-up to bring out a woman's natural beauty and focuses on looking more youthful and young.
I personally consider myself a gyaru, but when I go to school since we're not allowed a lot of make-up I usually do the Ulzzang look since all it is, is Eyeliner , lenses and BB cream. PLUS it is way more easier to just rub BB cream on your face, put on lenses and put on some eyeliner rather then contouring your face, adding false lashes etc etc.
Another major difference is the way they dress. Gyarus tend to wear more dressy clothes where as Ulzzangs usually dress more casually.
That's all I have for today's post, if you would like anything particular for my future posts, let me know^^

Barbie King Brown Circle Lens Review!~

Hello my gals,
today's post is a review on the Barbie King Brown circle lenses. I purchased these about two months ago from Speciallens and they arrived after a month. The shipping in my opinion was really good since it usually takes around 2 months for my things to arrive so I was happy about that ^^ . So I've been wearing these ones quite a lot and I really like them. The color is very natural and it takes a while for people to realize that I'm wearing lenses.

Picture with Flash:
I did one eye with my gyaru make-up Sakurina inspired ^^ and the other one without so you can see what they look like :

Picture without flash:
The picture is a bit blurry( ok a lot!) but I took the picture, I got in the shower and then I realized it and I couldn't be arsed to take new ones so....

MARKING TIME:

Comfort: 10/10, the recommended time to wear them is 8 hours, but I've worn them for about 10 before and they were fine. I had to apply eye drops only once so that is really good.
Color:10/10, they look really nice on and very natural. I don't recommend them if you want something that looks very outrageous and colorful.
Size: 10/10, they enlarge your eyes quite a bit and the look really nice when you apply your lashes and everything^^

Overall: I really like them and I do recommend them for people who want a nice subtle look, and it also goes with many different gyaru looks.

Anyway, that is all for now, I will do a review on the rest of my lenses soon,
Amy^^

Gyaru Eye Lashes~

Hello everyone,
I hope you're all doing good. The weather in Cyprus has been crazy lately! It's so hot and yet 2 days ago it rained cats and dogs! Thank god that it is also quite windy so you don't feel the rays of the sun burning through your body's Vitamin D and giving you skin cancer.
Any way, today's post is going to be on a loved topic of mine. FALSE LASHES! Now, to be a gyaru there are 4 things that you have to have no matter what. 1) Being bold with fashion choices
                                                                            2) Master of makeup and hair
                                                                            3) Circle lenses
                                                                            4) False lashes
So why do lashes play such a big role in the gyaru style? Normally people only wear false lashes to make their natural lashes look thicker. Gyarus wear them for that purpose but also to re-shape their eyes.

Most gyarus use Japanese brands for eyelashes. Here are the most popular brands:

Diamond Lash: It has different series. They have dramatic eyelashes, it is one of my personal favorite brands. The price for the lashes is around 13 dollars and you get 5 pairs! Here are the colors of the packages.

Dolly Wink: They are designed by popular gyaru model Tsubasa Masuwaka. They are the most natural looking from all the lashes. The price is around 15 dollars for 2 pairs. I wouldn't recommend them for newbies with false eyelashes because they are super thin and soft.

Another brand is Jewelove. They have dramatic lashes. I haven't gotten the chance to try them out yet, but according to reviews they are good.

Eyemazing also has really nice eyelashes. They have very natural and also very dramatic eyelashes. They are easy to put on so I recommend them for beginners.

There are MANY more Japanese eyelash brands, but these are the most popular ones.
This is all for this post

New upcoming segments on my blog!

Hello everyone!
it's been a while (as per usual). I'm not going to make excuses such as ''I don't have time to blog'', so I'm going to be honest. I have nothing to blog about! I usually talk about gyaru fashion, but where I live there aren't any gyarus (or to my knowledge) so I don't have a lot to talk about. So I've decided to come up with a few things to update my blog more frequently. Not all of them have to do with fashion, but some are related to it. I don't want this post to be long so I will get straight to the point.
To start off, I've been recently thinking (as I have mentioned before in some of my posts) to do some make-up/hair tutorials on YouTube for gyaru make-up/hair. But I don't really have the courage yet to do such a thing. So I was thinking of other things to do so I can do more frequent posts. I decided that once a month I will upload my Outfits Of The Month. Why only once a month? For starters, I usually have school 5 days a week 7:30-1:35 and at my school we have to wear a uniform and we're not allowed make-up -_-''. And after that I either have lessons, go to my friends house or stay home watching anime(personal favorite!). The only time I go out is on the weekends and that's when I get gyaru-ed-up. So I will be uploading the outfits that I wore that month^^
Next I hope to do some reviews on products that I buy. I recently purchased some circle lenses and I've been really satisfied with them so I will review them, soon. I will also be buying some other things so hopefully when I get them I will review them.
Finally, music plays a HUGE role in my life. 89.9999% of the time I am awake I listen to music. Even in class. Side note: I am a very lazy and bad student *scratches head*. In order to satisfy my love for music and blogging every week or two I will be blogging about what songs I've been listening to. I listen to a whole variety of songs from K-pop to Rock/Metal so those blogs shall be very interesting (I hope)
This is all I've come up with till now. If you have any suggestions for blogs you would like me to do just let me know^^ I've almost finished my post comparing Ulzzang to Gyaru so that will be up soon. Anyway, that is all for now, talk to you in my next post.

Dariya Palty: Sparkling Blonde Review~

Hello Sunshines,
it's been a while....Yeah,umm sorry about that. I haven't really had anything to blog about. I bought a bunch of things online in the past month, but nothing has really arrived. Except my dariya palty dye. I've never really bleached my hair blonde before, because my mum and family say that it won't suit me. But, I decided to bleach it in the end.I was originally going to do a video on my dying my hair, but I looked so freakin' weird in the video. I showed it to my best friend and she's like " you look like you are on crack!!!"and I was like  "wtf ???!".Anyway, I didn't take pictures of me dying it either cause the process is exactly the same as dying it with the other palty dye, only difference is that you also add a bleach package. I found one thing really odd about the dye though. I cut my hair quite short, to shoulder length and the dye wasn't enough!! When my hair was longer the dye was enough, there was even some left. So i'm thinking that maybe there is less dye with the bleach dye, or my hair has gotten thicker. Let's go with option number 2 :D. By the way, I also got the "Beauty Mauve". This is the first time I've found this dye. I'm guessing that it gets discontinued or it's hard to find. But none the less, I want to try the dye, but I like my hair color now and if I dye it with the purple I won't be able to dye it back easily.

So let me show you the package of the dye.

As you can see it has exactly the same things as their other dyes, but it also has a bleach package with it. Let me explain though how you mix them. You put the formula 2 in the formula 1 bottle. Shake it well, and when it's combined add the bleach package, close it mix again and then put the comb shape nozzle to the formula 1 bottle. Apply to your hair, leave it on for 25-30 minutes rinse it off. Add the serum to your hair and it's done.

My hair Before:

Extremely sexy as you can see...

So this is what my hair turned out like.

My roots are a different color than the ends of my hair because my natural hair color is nearly back. The color as you can see is almost an orang-y color. I advise using the purple shampoos that stop your hair from going brassy. Since it is a bleach, I found that by using the purple shampoos it has gone more blonde than the orange it originally was.
When I took the pictures it was the 17 of March (Cyprus's carnival) so I got made up and stuff. I was going to go with sort of a rock gyaru style, but I couldn't be arsed and it was so cold! So here is what I wore:

Excuse the mess in the background *scratches head*. By the way, you remember Yuuki right? My little German Spitz Klein dog. Well she gave birth back in November. I didn't really post any pics of the puppies cause, I forgot :D. Anywho, she gave birth to 4 puppies, 2 girls 2 boys. We gave the females away and we have the 2 males. Here are 2 pictures of how they are now:

This is Kimchi. He is kind of the loner one. He is SO BIG AND FLUFFY!!! I just want to squeeze him till he explodes!

This is Totoro (the brown thing getting eaten by Yuuki). He is such a little wus! But adorable! He isn't as big as kimchi, he has the same body shape as Yuuki but for some reason she tortures him all the time.... Any way...
REVIEW Time:
Content: 3/5, the dye wasn't enough for my hair and I had to add bleach processor is it? I don't know :/
Damage: 4.5/5 as usual, I don't find that the palty dyes destroy my hair as much as normal hair dyes, and my hair doesn't feel crispy and fried.
Color: 4.9999999/5. I really like the color. Once I dyed it, I hated it cause it was a HUGE difference from the other colors that I've dyed my hair. But I do really like it now. The only thing that I found bad is that I expected the color to be more blonde rather than orang-y.

UPDATE!
This is a quick update. I just redyed my hair with the Sparkling Blonde. The last time I dyed it it came out orange-y yellow and I believe the reason why is because I previously dyed my hair with the Bleach Brown one so it came out that way. Now that I redyed it, it came out a lovely blonde color. I also believe that they might have changed the dye because it came in a different box, and I checked and it is the Sparkling blonde so I'm not sure....

So anyway, the next few blogs I will do will be reviews on contact lenses. I'm thinking about maybe doing a make-up tutorial or hair tutorial video. If you want me to do one let me know in the comment, and what kind of tutorial^^
That's all for this blog and I will try to write more often,
 With Love,Amy

Harajuku Fashion : Types Of Kei

Hello my lovely marshmallows,
HAPPY NEW YEAR! May 2013 bring you health, happiness and love:)
Continuing...in Japan there are many fashion styles apart from Gyaru. There are also the Kei's(sounds so evil wtf?). There are many types of kei, even gyaru-kei.Kei is the fashion that is usualy worn in Harajuku in Japan ( one of the biggest fashion districts in Japan and is known World Wide) Gyaru-kei is the most basic form of gyaru style. Kei's are not gyaru though so don't get them confused.

First off Gyaru-Kei. It's the most simplest forms of kei. It's basically the gyaru fashion style. Doesn't have any specific requirements just the basics like they eyes, neat put together hair, good fashion and shoes, nails etc etc. I don't really have to detail this, you'll understand from the pictures what I mean :

Now for Gyary-O-kei, this is the male version of gyaru. Yes, there is such a thing. These are guys that are very fashionable and take care of their appearance wear perhaps make-up and are always dressed nicely. I haven't really talked about gyaru guys before, so I will do another post on Gyaru guys. Here are some pictures for now:

Now for Fairy-kei. Fairy kei in some ways is like hime gyaru. What I mean by that is, that it's very kiddy-girly like. The major difference I would say is the over-use of accessories and that you dye your hair with pastel colors; apart from that you use lots of patterns and accessories. Hime is definitely more princess like where as fairy kei is more fairy-tale like and colorful. And you have to note the excessive use of pastel colors.

If you are a fan of Japanese music, like japanese rock, you will be familiar with visual kei. It consists of striking makeup, unusual hair styles and flamboyant costumes, similar to Western glam rock and glam metal Andragyny stlyle is also a very popular aspect of the style.
There is also Anguro Kei , which is similar to Visual Kei, but they usualy wear only black(maybe a bit of white and other colors, but dark ones) I couldn't find any pictures for Anguro Kei so I just put the ones for Visual Kei.

Very accurate!

Oshare Kei, is what they call the happy-go-lucky version of Visual kei. It consists of the same style but with more bright colors rather than dark ones.

Cult Party Kei is based on the Western religion fashion style. It consists of crosses, silky white lace and very light pastel colors, usually beige, pink, white, yellow. They don't really show skin and cover up.

Mori Girl consists of flowy fabrics, usually organic fabrics such as linen, wool and cotton. The style is very close to Hobo-chic and they usually wear light pastel or neutral color clothing. They tend to wear accessories or patterns with a natural theme.

Dolly Kei is a newly created type of Harajuku street fashion. It is inspired by the middle ages and old fairy-tales. They some times wear Crosses and other religious symbols.

That's all I have today. Sorry I have't posted in a year wtf? but I've been really busy with school, and I have the immune system of a gold fish and I get sick really easily -_-''
I'm going to dye my hair soon so I'll try and review the product and maybe I'll do a how-to video ;D
